The crazier the world gets, the more we need meditation.

Today, I’m thrilled to announce that my latest project just dropped: an Audible Original* on the productivity benefits of meditation. It’s called How to Train Your Mind. You can download it by clicking the beautiful book art below!

Surprise! My Audible Original on meditation is out now!

If you’re not a member of Audible, you can sign up for a free trial and get the book as a perk of becoming one. (In the US, you’ll also get a free full-length book—here are a couple I recommend 😉)

In How to Train Your Mind, I dig deep into the practical, tactical benefits of a meditation practice—and how to integrate a meditation ritual into your own life. In addition to calming your mind and allowing you to slow down in an overanxious world, research shows that meditation actually de-stimulates your mind so you can think more clearly, procrastinate less, and be more effective at everything you do—at work and at home.

A lot has been written about the spiritual and intangible benefits of meditation. As far as our productivity is concerned, though, as I argue in the book, meditation is in a league all of its own.

Meditation makes us more productive precisely because it lets us earn back time. For each minute we spend meditating, we’ll earn around nine minutes back, as I break down.

Better yet, the crazier the world gets, the more we benefit from having a practice.

I hope you’ll check it out!

Have a wonderful week,

Chris

*For the uninitiated, Audible Originals are like Netflix Originals, but with audiobooks on Audible.
